Dodgers RHP Hawksworth has right elbow surgery

Dodgers reliever Blake Hawksworth has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove scar tissue and shave down a bone spur in his right elbow. Hawksworth is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks. A team spokesman said Wednesday that Hawksworth should be ready to pitch sometime during spring training and could be on Los Angeles' opening-day roster.
